Billet Tie Rod Clamp

Upgrade your steering system with this 6061-T6 billet aluminum tie rod clamp featuring a “dual shear” design, made in the USA. Running oversized tires adds a substantial amount of stress to your steering system compared to your factory sized tires. This added stress gets leveraged into your steering stabilizer or hydraulic assist ram and into one of the most critical components in harnessing these forces, your tie rod clamp. Most clamps feature a single bolt sticking straight out in what is considered an inadequate, “single shear” design. Our design improves upon that by capturing both sides of the bolt preventing the forces of leverage from snapping hardware and/or damaging your steering stabilizer or hydraulic assist setup. This dual shear design isn’t unique, but we believe our design improves upon a some features that other manufacturers lack.

First, we sourced some of the highest quality, American made hardware available. 316 stainless steel spacers, socket cap bolts, & grub screws. 12-point, 5/8”-18 fine thread main bolt featuring a “captured nut” design.

Second, we added more surface area for the clamp to “bite” the tie rod in order to further resist the leverage forces of the steering system. Within this feature we also have industry-standard “grub” screws that get torqued into your tie rod to prevent the clamp from slipping.

This clamp can be custom made to fit any size tie rod, but comes in 4 common sizes: 1.5”, 1.625”, 1.75”, & 2” diameter bore. Please inquire for custom sizes.

Direct fit with King steering stabilizers and PSC hydraulic assist rams that utilize a 5/8” rod end or uniball (COM10). Please check your equipment for compatibility with at 5/8” mounting bolt.
